As part of our #staycation series, we were invited to stay at Romney Marsh Shepherd’s huts by Kristina and her husband Paul. The huts are situated on their farm that’s been in their family for over 130 years.

Our journey from Tunbridge Wells takes us south to Romney Marsh in around 50mins by car taking in some beautiful Kent countryside. We arrive on the farm and are warmly greeted and shown where to park, my 3-year-old son who is joining me on this staycation is a ball of excitement having spotted all sheep in the fields!

We can all agree that this year has been a weird one. However, the promise of Christmas is like the light at the end of the tunnel, and one that I am keen to speed ahead to.

Our local shops have suffered massively over the past few months, so with that in mind, We pledge to make a greater effort to shop locally. To support our high street businesses and champion the artisans.
