A Slice of Art and Community: Palette Celebrates One Year with Summer Exhibition

To mark their one-year anniversary, Palette is hosting a special art exhibition launch and celebration on Saturday 2nd August, from 12–4pm, and the whole community is invited.

Founded by a local artist, Erika and her husband, a skilled pizza chef, Palette was born from a shared dream: to create a space where art meets hospitality. Over the past year, they've done exactly that – serving up exceptional pizzas alongside rotating exhibitions of original artwork by local creatives, including the co-founder herself.

The upcoming exhibition will showcase 16+ brand new paintings, ranging in price from £120 to £1000, with payment plans available. The artist’s style is vibrant, expressive, and rooted in everyday beauty – think floral still lifes, intimate tablescapes, soulful portraits, and the occasional charismatic cat, all painted in water mixable oils.

To celebrate the occasion, guests on 2nd August will be treated to free slices of Palette’s signature sourdough pizza, with drinks available from the bar. Alongside original artworks, there will also be prints and cards for sale – perfect for art lovers on a budget. The event promises to be a family-friendly afternoon of food, art, and community spirit.

If you’ve yet to discover Palette, this is the perfect opportunity. Whether you’re popping in for a slice, a painting, or simply a good time, you’ll find yourself welcomed into a space that’s as full of creativity as it is flavour.

Don’t miss this celebration of local art, independent business, and one of Tunbridge Wells’ most imaginative venues.
