Liv Thurlwell Jewellery

We stumbled across Liv a few months ago on Instagram, her hexagon earrings in rose gold caught our eye and kept us scrolling through her stylish feed. She designs and makes trend lead jewellery as well as being commissioned for bespoke pieces.

She recently completed a jewellery course at the British Acedemy and worked alongside several designers in Hatton Garden while perfecting her craft. She’s passionate about working with recycled materials and is on her way to being a certified seller of fair trade gold.

Her inspiration comes from architecture and artists like Stephanie Carlton-Smith and Zaha Hadid. The crisp clean architectural lines are echoed in her work, simplicity is coupled with skilful engineering which in turn creates striking shapes.

She's based in Tunbridge Wells and works between London and her studio in the Pantiles alongside her father’s jewellery business; Thurlwell’s. Her work can be bought through her Instagram page or Etsy shop.

Liv is often travelling, sketching ideas and thoughts in a note pad which are later translated in to contemporary jewellery upon her return. Each piece is completely hand made, every element is pored over and ironed out and it’s this attention to detail you can see throughout her entire collection.
